Is anyone else doing this after a trip home before you are allowed to go back to work?

Yeah... I'm doing it right now. I spent August abroad and came back to K-land on Sunday night to start my renewed PS contract with an extra week of 'vacation'... LOL.

I love degi flu Very Happy ... unless, of course, I actually contract it. The trouble in that case is -
It will be a K that gives it to me. Rolling Eyes

So do you have to stay in your apartment? I assume you don't get paid either...

I don't have to stay in my apartment and I'm being paid (it does not count as holidays or sick days either).

I just can't go to my school.

Sweet deal! Maybe I'll get "quarantine," when I go over there! Very Happy

If it's a first, EPIK contract (not renewal) - yes, you will have a week of 'quarantine'. However, they will probably combine it with your unpaid orientation. They're not stupid. Wink

SMOE did the same thing for renewing NSETS...

Horray for a week of not having to teach while under the influence of Jet Lag!
