Yep. I'm almost at the point of laying out some cash for Haansoft Office. For those who've done so, what are the challenges you've encountered with putting that suite onto an American computer? |

How much does it cost?
If you don't mind me asking, why are you buying it?
Do you have to make HWP files or something? |

Pay?!
That would be the last software I would pay for. Torrents or Rapidshare. |

I'm not going to steal it. |

Stealing means the original is missing. |

Stealing is defined in law. One type of theft is "theft of services." Another type of theft so defined is intellectual property theft. Rationalize it away all you want, you're still stealing. And in neither case is "the original missing."

HWP is the biggest hunk of crap since V3, but I understand where you're coming from -- every semester I threaten to fail students if they send me hwp files and every semester some students send me hwp files...
Anyway, there used to be a free hwp reader available from the company and, if I recall correctly, it could be used to convert to doc. |

I have the free reader. It's good for reading the files and even printing them, but cannot convert anything. |

Yup. Only read. can't copy or paste. can't even edit. Crappy HWP reader. If you have 2003 HWP file you can use it with OpenOffice. |
