It's a private school, as in privately-owned gov't school? There are public and private high schools, elementary schools, and middle schools. The major differences are in ownership, but curriculum is the same (basically).
At a private school like this, the principal is king. Literally.
Otherwise, they're all pretty much the same as far as things would go for you.
If it's a hagwon, then that's an entirely different animal. That's a private evening academy. |

yeah it's a private school, not a hagwon. but good to know about the principal, thanks. anyone else from smoe get placed in a private school? |

It's quite common. Many private elementary schools are often funded better than public schools. |
