My demo lesson is covering a chapter of our book about advertisements, and I'm trying to find one for them to watch and guess the product, and another to show w/o sound and have the students write the script.
Any commercials you've used before that have worked well? |

There are so many! I've done a few blog posts with long lists of the commercials I've used and some examples. http://ddeubel.edublogs.org/2009/03/05/commericals-in-the-efl-classroom/
You also might see Gold's Gym commercials, great low level commercials. Check the EFL Classroom video cloud and tag commercials. See Media Wise in the video section too. Nice handouts/quiz and fun cartoon video about media awareness and commercials. It rocks!
Also check our A/V player and hit the commercial folder. The best of course is the Cat/Goldfish commercial for sure, under - Learn a Second Language.
Good luck,
DD

Check out the new Star Warscommercials on Spike TV in Canada. They are funny as hell. Useless for your class, but would be good for a laugh.
