So a few weeks ago I was in a taxi and the driver told me Id never pull cos I wear glasses, like him. He says women swerve away from guys with glasses for some reason. On Friday night I managed to get completely, utterly out of my head and lost my glasses - my only pair.

So yesterday I was depressed, it got to about half 11 and I thought sod it, Im going out - sans glasses. Lo and behold I was at the bar and got talking to a girl, who dragged me onto the dance floor and well, the best night Ive had for ages!

Honestly, about 4 months with no action, and the minute I lose my glasses Im away. And after what that taxi driver said too.

Do you think glasses are some kind of turn off? In my experience the taxi drivers tend to be quite streetwise and Im thinking that guy was right!

Perhaps sans your specs you didn't realize you were dancing (and who knows what else) with a man. The wily cab driver, perhaps?

Contacts?

Anyway, it was probably a confidence issue. Try it again, you need more evidence.

No, I think the taxi driver was full of crap personally. Glasses aren't a big deal, some chicks even dig the intelligent look.
