Has anyone ever taken a cruise ship out of Busan? I'd like to take one from here to Alaska (1 way) when my contract ends in early April. Anyone ever do this? Recommendations? How much money would it be? Thanks in advance for any help. |

Check out Kangsantravel at http://www.kangsantravel.com/index.asp
They speak English and if you go to their office they can help you book and research options. |

I took a freighter from Busan to Long Beach. Some ships may go up to Seattle but not so sure about going to Alaska. Costs about $100US a day. |

How was the food?
Also, any hot sailor chicks? I used to live by a container terminal and all the sailors were horrible monsters until a US flagged ship came in; they had a genuine American crew and some genuinely hot Cali girls on board. |

It was 15 long days. I was the only passenger so it got a little lonely. Lots of books on board as well as movies.
The food was mostly Eastern European as the cook was Russian and much of the crew was from that area. The West German officer complained nonstop about it but the East German didn't mind it. For me it was alright, lots of meat and potatoes.
They sell beer, chips, and soda 2 or 3 times a week.
No women on my ship |

How did you find a boat that would take a passenger? |

I'd be interested in that as well. |
