My hogwon says if I or other teachers have fever, we have to go to hospital to get a check? If I have the swine-flu, can't I stay at home (if it's not terrible), or a I forced by Korean law to stay segregated in the hospital??
The whole frenzy just scares me...

No clue, but you should have health insurance. Most visits are a few thousand won. So a general visit is a couple bucks.

At my school I get sick time off if I have a note, I take personal days if I dont. Swine flu or not I'd rather have my personal days to tack onto a vacation block.

If you dont have insurance then who knows as they have their own rules and you might not be completely legal.
