|

I need to get a ner battery and charger for my phone. However, the local ohone shops all tell me I must go to a Samsung AC centre to do this - does anyone know I can find one of these places???? Anywhere in Seoul would be fine. Thanks. |

Technomart.
Follow the green line #2 subway to Gangbyeon station in East Seoul. Exit out to the East and go under ground down the escalator. Walk under the street there, and you'll be at the basement entrance of Technomart (it's the tallest building next to the subway). On one of the top floors (I think it's 7 or so) you'll see tons of cell phones for sale. I think there is a Samsung service center there. |

I'm sure some of the "Samsung Digital Plaza's" have A/S centers also. I know the one near Nambu Bus Terminal has an A/S center.
There are usually one of those closeby. Could save you a trip all the way to Yongsan. |

well, I've tried 2 locals Digital plazas and nothing; there are no batteries at Yongsan, so I guess I'll try this Technomart thing. Why can't shops selling phones also sell batteries????? |

you definitely don't need to go to an A/S center for a batter and charger. just go to any shop in the Yongsan electronic area (yongsan station) or Techno Mart in Gangbyeon station. whichever is closer to you.
charger should only be about 5000 won. |

gmarket also sells batteries and will probably have a phone charger. Just type the model number of the phone in the search box., |

are you serious? where exactly did you go? Yongsan is the biggest electronics area in the whole country. they have chargers by the thousands, i always buy them from there.
and if anyone has your battery, it will be there. you just need to find the electronic stores. |

looked for the battery at Yongsan - found the floor in the electronics mall with all the phone stands and they all said the same thing, that I must find an AC centre. |
