|
|
I'm looking to start reading books in a few months that are in the Korean language. They would of course have to be kids books with pictures. I was wondering if anything like this exists? When I learned German and French I read TinTin and Asterix and other kids' comic books. Is there anything like this in Korea? Fantasy type stuff for kids? Graphic novels ?
Thanks

I'm reading Tin Tin in Korean at the moment. You can find all the books on gmarket. Asterix is here too.
Also, your local DVD/video shop should have shelves and shelves full of 만화, both Japanese and Korean, available for 500won per night. |

theres ALOT of korean comicbooks its called 만화. Most book stores have them. Alot of japanese manga translated to korean ect.. Lots of variety.
Heres one place ive been too called ComicCozzle in Seoul.

Problem with a lot of 만화 is that it might be hard to judge what level they're written at. If people want kids books, they want them because of the simple grammar and vocabulary.
Unless you have someone who can help you figure out if the 만화 is meant for kids you might end up grabbing a rather difficult one. Most bookstores sell kids book very cheap and you shouldn't have any trouble figuring out what the level is before you buy it. |
