I have a Compaq CQ50 series laptop which I purchased last October prior to coming into Seoul. I'm now barely getting 1.5 hours out of the 6-cell battery it came with and would like to upgrade it to a new 12-cell battery.
I have found them online new in Canada for $80 so I know they exist. Walking around Yongsan or Technomart I see a fair number of Compaq notebooks but the vendors I have asked (mind you, it wasn't that many as I wasn't serious about it last time I was there) were only able to order in a replacement 6-cell battery.
Does anyone know where I might be able to find this battery in Korea? I'm comfortable ordering online so a Korean web-site would be fine too... and I do expect to pay a bit more than the $80CDN I found it for online (that web site won't ship to Korea).
