It looks like a very thin piece of wire..

Just cut it with a pair of plyers....

(You can purchase a cheap pair of plyers at most 1,000won shops for 2,000won.)

well i thought it would be reasonable to try to push the metal things together and maybe they would come out, but i then found i could just break the metal by bending it around... thanks for the help XD

Hand the bag(s) to your co-teacher and demand they open them.

Jeez, are you serious? Cut them with wire cutters. Or smash the plastic. You've been waiting a week? What are you waiting for? Korea gets the teachers it deserves.

Wow, funny you mentioned this.

When I came back from my vacation a few weeks ago at 3:20am, I was chatting with a newbie while waiting for our luggage. Mine came about the same time as his and he had this huge lock on his monster backpack. A security guard was walking around at the time and said to him..."Is this yours? Please come with me." I had to wait until 5:30 to catch the train so I was hanging out near the exit reading, waiting for this guy to come out. I left at 5:20 to catch the train and never saw him.

Wondered what happened to him? Hope it turned out alright for him.

Went to Jeju with my bike in a bike flight case. The asked to search it and I complied. They pulled out an 8oz bottle of stuff called Chamois Butter. It's a lanolin based cream that goes on your sack (if you are a boy) near the taint to preven chaiffing and sores. Since I don't speak Korean there was lot's of miming going on and I loved every minute of it. Actually, they seemed to hurry us out of there once I started with the movements.

Did anyone else get the feeling after seeing the paperclips barring the OP from his or her clothing that we're dealing with an awesome thinker here? Did you honestly wear your clothing several times because of those "locks?"

Go to the store and look for 철사 끊는 기구 or ask your landlord/ institute/ company to loan a pair to you: Churl-sa Gun-nun Gigu...they're wire cutters.
