Pretty simple really, before I left my doctor told me my thyroid gland may not be firing on all cylinders, and insisted I locate an endocrinologist.
So do I just go to the International Clinic in 'twon and ask them or are there any decent, foreigner-friendly hospitals I can try?
Thanks. |

The Itaewon international clinic is pretty good. Everyone seams to hate it for some reason, but I have no idea why. I guess it costs a little more than other places, but with insurance, a visit is 5,000 won.
As a diabetic, I haven't met any particularly skilled endocrinologists. Many were actually surprised that I take insulin every day. The general practitioner at the Itaewon clinic seems to actually know what he's talking about. |

Thanks for the information, I'll make an appointment today. Do you know how much a consultation is likely to cost? My medical insurance isn't in place yet. |
