|
|
| Does anyone know how much it will cost me per month to run an 8 pyong air con unit? Say I run it all night for a whole month, can anyone give me a guestimate as to the cost of electricity? |

| My theory is perhaps possibly maybe a lot. I hope this helps. |

I got aircon recently. I have the typical tiny bedsit apartment. Running it all night, everynight, seems to have added about 20k per month to my electricity bill. I'm OK with that.
Perhaps your circumstances vary from mine and your costs will be higher. Even if that's true, we're about to hit autumn so an open widow should be fine to keep the temperature down. |

| Yeah, you won't be needing it real soon. From the day after Chuseok it won't be hot at all. |

| I ran that first link, and it said about 100,000 won if you ran it full-blast on coldest setting for 24 hours a day for a month. That's for a 6-pyong Samsung aircon. If you go to www.enuri.com and look at the aircons, they will give you the Kwh rating. You can plug that decimal figure into the chart, along with the number of hours. The thing is that I still was getting the figure that I had in the above post (small basement apartment, though... so it probably didn't have to work so hard). |
