I'll preface this over-generalizing thread by saying that the young male teachers at my high school are pretty cool, dress well, and seem to teach interesting lessons.

THe older male teachers (30+) though--my god.
And it's the after-lunch ritual that's the worst.
--The (collective) sucking of the teeth on the way out of the cafeteria.
--The column of smoke that rises up the stairwell from one meter outside of the building, the congregating point.
--The slipper-shod tramp back to the staffroom to procure newspaper (and often more cigarettes) for trip to the toilet.
--Slipper-shod shuffle to the toilet, newspaper in hand. "I'm off to take a dump!" says this posture to all passing students.
--The smoking in the stall.
--The clearing of the throat in front of the mirror, followed by the spit (repeat).
--The endless brushing of the teeth. Cue repeat spit.
--Cue return shuffle.

Have I left anything out?

How could any of Korea's fine babes have married these scrubs...?

Man you really have it bad.
My school is almost entirely female. That goes with being at an elementary.
Problem comes if you work at the middle or high schools. Higher ratio of males.

Not if it's at an all girls school, although the women are generally older. I'm not into adjummas but goddamn when Im 20 years older and I have a wife with a body like a lot of them at my school have, I will count myself a very lucky man!

I thought your amount of detail was funny...it's sounds like quite a depressing existence.

That is bad. You should try moving to Zimbabwe to improve your quality of life.

Its a mystery to me too....

I really enjoy the company of Korean women. Adorable, most of them. Polite, sensitive, tactful, fun, etc etc.

but a Korean male just has to appear for 10 seconds and he's usually already done something totally objectionable or ridiculous. They just can't help themselves.
