This is the last day of teaching for a Daves legend. They don't come bigger than FTUK!
Friend and foe will miss his posts about gentle exercise and his demon co-teachers, about how Islam has brought him comfort to his life and about the brilliance of Homeplus in Bucheon, we will miss how he put to the sword the many adversaries he come across on this forum. FTUK was master of all as he put away challengers with his quick wit and correct grammar.
I beg FTUK to keep us posted when he is in Saudi and to bring comparisons between Saudi Arabia and South Korea for any teacher considering a move to the gulf.
FTUK - is THE legend of the Korea forums.
All tributes to him can be posted below

First of all I dont claim legendary status. Second, you should know join dates have little correlation to how long someone has actually been on Daves or in Korea. |

I'll really miss you fromtheuk. You're my favourite. You were so easily misunderstood. At least you could spell the word 'definitely' though.
I'm sure I'll post something shallow and meaningless in these forums again. I think a thread about nostril hair is long overdue!

Hmm. . . rather coincidental that FTUK is about to leave and another Brit creates a new account, writes like him, argues like him with Epicurus, and praises FTUK when really no one else cares. Given that FTUK needs attention like a 13 year old valley girl with daddy issues, I wouldn't put it past him to create the "pie eater" account to post on these forums after he supposedly leaves Korea. |

this is actually hysterically funny
you forgot to mention his very "posh" accent that he always get complimented for.
I'd love to see a blog from him teaching even in a place like his homeland of Waziristan, when he becomes offended that some of his students aren't following in the "true" ways of Islam.
Saudi Arabia should be a hoot. I look forward to hearing about the homosexual sodomy escapades we all know run rampant there.
(FTUK, may I suggest purchasing a specially adjusted "chastity belt" for men before arrival?)
bet this wasn't mentioned in his Qu'ran when he was beating his head against the cement blindly memorizing passages over and over and over in his madrassa. |
