Hey, I have been in korea for 11 months and decided it is time to go home at the end of my first year's contract... Anyway, I have quite a bit of money in KB bank which I need to change back to pounds. My local bank carries dollars and euros but I don't know if it carries pounds and anyway I don't know what the commission on this exchange might be. So I was wondering if anybody knew the cheapest and best way to make your money english again. Thanks in advance for any help |

Korea Exchange Bank and Nonhyup Bank have sterling. My wife has been telling me there's no commission by Korean banks....but this must be offset by the exchange rate they work on (such that people ask for a discount on it).
Or you could wire it.
Don't take it out of the country. It'll lose 1/3 straight away |
