I can not find whole wheat bread at all, for a society that eats alot of vegetables,soy and fruits,they seem to eat white bread which has no nutrients and the bread is basically bleached. Sorry for my rant,but where in the masco( sorry for the mispelling) area can I find whole wheat bread ? Help

I've been looking for it for years. I've asked workers at all the big stores and all the bakery's and nobody even knows what it is, much less carry it.

No luck at the two foreign food markets either.

If you come across any, tell me. Best to just buy them out of it, then freeze what you're not using.

I've found ways around it. Usually I just replace any bread I might want with whole grain oats. Those are becoming more common here, though can still be a little hard to locate. Other occasions, you just have to bite the bullet and go with white.

I remember in university, I switched over to whole grain wheat bread and lost like 10 pounds while keeping my diet and exercise level the same. It was unreal how just changing the bread I ate made a difference. I was still making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for breakfast with it and was still losing weight. Ever since, I've been a whole wheat nut.

I haven't found any whole wheat bread either. I've been lazy lately so I've just been eating the white bread but what I try to do here is make whole weat tortillas and use those to make wraps in place of sandwiches.

Tortillas are pretty simple to make you just add water, flour, milk, and a little salt and thats good enough for me. You could also try finding a bread making machine and buying whole weat flour.

Yea, Paris Baguette has it...you gotta get there when it comes out though. It tends to go fast...Rye is the next best thing though and they have it for 1,700 for half a loaf.

They sell it in sticks though? Really? How can I ask for it?

The bakery at my Emart sells whole grain bread - It doesn't seem to be whole wheat, but it's definitely not white bread and has seeds in it like 12 grain bread back home. Step in the right direction at least.

Try going to a larger Paris Baguette. There's one near my apartment that recently started selling wheat and barleycorn bread.

I've been buying this 'dark' color rye type bread at my local Lotte Mart in the 'delux' baked section.... seems good... but who the hell knows

It's easy to get wholewheat here. The problem is the half a pound of butter they put into it. It's like eating a bloomin' croissant.
