Hello
I have naturally blonde hair which I have been unhappy with for a long time.
So I dyed it dark brown, which I like. It looks natural.
However, when I came to Korea, I tried to use korean hair dye which was a bad idea because the brown was too dark and ended up coming out as black in my hair. Well last week I went to the salon to ask them to lighten my hair back to brown and they said it was impossible. However I think this is a lie because I have known people who have changed their hair colour countless times back in Canada. Does anyone know how I can change my hair back to brown at home or should I just try a different salon?

if anyone could help me find a colorist in Daegu that would be great.

Definitely not impossible. Go to a different salon, preferably one where you can explain exactly what you want, or get someone from back home to mail you a box of light brown or dark blonde dye. The colour will come out darker than on the box, since your hair is dyed so dark right now. Good luck!

And, then don't use the Korean dyes anymore. You can buy several different types of Loreal at E-mart, Olive Young, Watson's, and Namdaemun.

Go to an English speaking salon, and ask if they can help you- if they say no, then ask if they know anyone who can. According to my stylist in Canada, color correction is really tricky and time consuming work and most stylists would rather refer you to someone who specializes in it than try it themselves.

Peppermint is right-color correction is very difficult. You'll need a very skilled colorist to do it for you. I had my color redone in Inchon and was very happy with the results. It was at Lon Lon in Guwol dong. If you'd like directions let me know.
