I'm working on two slide shows for a friend's wedding back home.

The format and the pictures will be essentially the same, but one of them I'm making a bit more upbeat and a little whacky, and the other is likely to be more subdued and romantic. The couple in question can then choose which they like best, because they are a bit whacky, but this is a wedding/romantic event.

The format is a short intro, then slides of the woman. Then slides of the man. Then slides of them together. The whacky one has something between the final two sections, but that is not of concern here.

The individual sections should be about 4 mins each, a little less or maybe 20 seconds over. The final section of them together is about 5 mins, maybe a bit more. So that's the length of song I'm looking at/for.

Songs/music I am considering:

- Your song, Elton John
- Somewhere over the rainbow/wonderful world --- Hawaiian guy with a long name
- be my yoko Ono, Barenaked ladies (but it's too short)
- Canon, Pachabel (serious version)
- girls just wanna have fun
- pour some sugar on me

I'm not sure what to choose, because there is a debate between upbeat and funny and mellow/romantic. That list should give you a good idea of the breadth of what can be considered.

Thoughts and suggestions ASAP would be greatly appreciated.
