Here's my situation: I have been at my school for 2 weeks now. I have all my classes from 9-1:30, but they expect me to stay until 5 every day, which is fine, because I'm being paid. However, the internet sucks here, and the software is all in Korean, which makes it very difficult to make my lesson plan. I would like to ask to leave early to go home and finish my lesson plans, but am not sure if thats a good thing to ask. Any suggestions? Anyone else in the same situation and asked? I don't want to piss anyone off.. especially since I'm new. However, most teachers leave around 3:30.

I've had some bosses who would allow it, others that wouldn't. You could always download Open Office software(it's free), in English, then you could do all the prep you want, just remember to save in the correct formats.
