I'm just curious. I'm tired of lugging my laptop to school everyday for the last year and a half. I'm wondering if your school provides you with a computer to use while you're there.

Should I demand my school (public) to provide me with a computer. Thanks, your input is appreciated.

My school provides me with two: one in my classroom and one at my desk in the teacher's area. I wouldn't lug my laptop back and forth without a fight.

1 in the teachers room, 1 in each class room for the presentations that go along with the books, and about 10~15 (never counted) or so in the main area for the kids to do their online studies on.

We have a big interactive screen for one computer, 2 in the back, 2 in the teacher's room, and another classroom has 3 with 2 more for the other teachers Laughing

When the new principal came, the first thing he did was get a new computer for himself, as well as a cell phone (to be paid for by the school of course) Laughing

Do you use it during lessons?
Probably, so I would try a day putting your stuff on a USB drive and saying there's a problem with your laptop.
If your working in a tiny elementary school in the boonies, give them a chance to get something.
The school has a budget for things like that.
The IT dept. probably even has old ones after the last replacement.
Don't take it one day if possible, just ask admin. for photiocopies for everyone!
