| Just curious if this amount is enough to live in a nice beach area. |

Google will auto-convert currencies if you search for them. e.g.: I typed in:
"100,000 Philippine Pesos in KRW"
(I spelled out Philippine Pesos because I didn't know the 3-letter code for them offhand, so it's easier to just spell it out then check Wikipedia).
Anyway, it's ~2.54 million Korean Won. Which would seem like a lot in a poor nation, though I don't have any first hand experience. |

A nice beach and away from a major tourist trap.
rent for a 1-2 bedroom apartment - p5000
maid - p5000 (live out) p3000 (live in)
meals (p100 per meal - restaurant) p50 dine at home.
I run our house on about p10k per month but I don't have to pay rent. |
