1. Is Yasmin avaliable only with a prescription or can I get it over the counter here? I did a search and it seems conflicting...
2. Has anyone here switched from Yasmin to Mercilon here? If so, what was your experience like? (any change in mood, weight, appetite?)
3. How much does Yasmin cost here? I know that Mercilon costs about 6000W here, just wanted to know if Yasmin is as expensive as back home.

Thanks for any help!

I don't know much about Yasmin, I think I was on it several years ago but went off it because it gave me terrible mood swings.

I take Mercilon here in Korea, switched to it from my Canadian pill (sorry, can't remember what it was, I have a terrible memory). I had no problems with switching pills. Mercilon is probably the best pill I've used. Since I was 19, I've had terribly irregular periods (missing it for 2 months, getting it for 2 months straight, etc. and doctors could never find anything wrong with me) but Mercilon seems to have straightened it out for the most part. I also get no mood swings, I had no weight gain. Plus it is really easy to get here and cheap (was 6,000 won a few months ago, but it has gone up to 7,000 won, at least at the pharmacy I use).
