Just curious, I'm planning to bring my laptop aboard the plane and I was wondering if the airplanes had wall outlets to plug my charger into. If so, what airline did you use? What class (economy/business)? Thanks.

If the airline you choose does have plug outlet then you'll either find them (in economy) on the back of the seat infront of you, on the back of the seat leg infront of your or your seat leg.

The airlines which I know have plug outlets in economy on their planes:
Asiana (777-200ER only have sockets in business)
Korean Air
Finnair
Air France
Emirates
Qatar airways (depends on which version of the A330-200 aircraft you get on as they have 5 of them.)
Singapore
Cathay Pacifc.

I apologise if this message doesn't help.

I expect to see more outlets in economy since thanks to the recession, more and more business travellers have to fly economy rather than business class (those are the lucky ones that have not been downgraded to fly budget airlines).

The only time I ever had an outlet at my seat was the flight I took without laptop Crying or Very sad

Air Canada's blew. I tried to use them.. I plugged in the adapter..fine adapter got a green line, plugged in my laptop and tried to turn it on, green light disappeared and the outlet seemed to go dead. waited a minute, tried again same deal.
Not an adapter problem, it still works fine.
