Are there any official Apple stores in Cheonan, Suwon or Seoul (line 1 preferably.)

I need a proper Apple store because my ipod touch is bust and I don't have my receipt, but did register my product with Apple and want the thing fixed properly.

Two problems with it (if you want to know, which you may not), the output only puts sound into one headphone bud and the dock thingy has never ever docked properly with ipod docks, always hit and miss if it connects. I want both sorted before it's out of warranty and don't want fobbing off by a crappy little store, which is what happened previously.

Thanks

Apple Experience Centre in COEX - they provide full customer support and repairs. The only official Apple store in Asia is in Tokyo.

theres a chain over here called frisbee. Thats the closest you'll get. They sell nothing but apple stuff
I took my macbook in recently and they fixed it for free under the conditions of my applecare.
There is one in Busan so there must be a place in Seoul. They have a teccy on site.

There's a Frisbee store on Gangnam Daero between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station, just before Kyobo Tower.

Line 9 Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 6.

Line 2 Gangnam Station Exit 6.

There's a cool aquarium there you can check out. Hammerhead sharks, giant turtles, etc. A lot of shopping, a large casino, and I do believe there is an official Apple store there. A friend of mine who was visiting had his iPod serviced there.

There are no official Apple Stores in Korea, only authorised resellers and/or service providers. There are now 7 stores in Japan (Tokyo x 2, Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Sapporo and Sendai) and one in Beijing, China. Go here for a full, up to date list of authorised service providers in Korea: -

http://www.apple.com/kr/support/center/all.html

Many of them service iPods, including all of the Frisbee stores. And because they're Apple authorised they will be able to find your warranty info from your product's serial number, so don't worry about not having a receipt.

Went to Frisbee today. Just so you all know, they won't do repairs on a Saturday or a Sunday, only mid week.

Your problem reminds me of mine. I had the similar problem with my iphone sometime back and was about to take it to the Apple service centre, when a friend of mine pointed the lint and dust that had accumulated at the HP socket.
Well, switch off the ipod touch, dig and clean the socket (may be with the blunt side of a long needle) and check if the problem still exists before scrambling for Apple store?

Ah, already did that, cleaned it with a cotton bud, seemed to do it fairly thoroughly, the sound changes if I tap the back of the iPod, so I'm thinking maybe it's something else causing it?
