So I should be going to the Korean Embassy next week in Atlanta for the embassy interview. Has anyone recently gone to this embassy, or any other embassy recently (assuming they're all the same), and can you tell me what documents I have to bring? The reason why I ask, is because the website (koreaembassyusa.org) says: I'll need to bring:

- Certificate of academic degree or diploma
- Employment contract
- Documents regarding establishment of school or organization
- Letter of personal reference notarized
- Criminal Record (attached Apostille)
* Interview
- Applicant's Health Staternent (ms-word)
- Consul's Checklist fot E-2 Applicant (ms-word)
- Official Transcript

But I don't have any of that! I sent it all to my recruiter. Should I re-order it tomorrow, when I get my visa number in Korea, they'll have all of that on file? (if you're confused, i'm a bit confused too)

I wish I could help, but I kinda want to know this stuff too. Everyone (recruiter, the other recruiter, consulate, immi, their mom) wants all my documents mailed to them every step of the way.

Am I to furnish hundreds of dollars worth of documents for everyone, all of which take about a month to acquire, if I'm lucky?

Some insight here would probably help a lot of people.

What would work best (talking to you Korea) is if you could get your own visa then apply for a job. Instead you have to be sponsored by an employer.

If you're going through recruiters, you don't see a job offer from an employer until they have your papers. The system seems to be set up to get people to use recruiting agencies they don't necessarily need.

I'm still getting the documents together, CRC in particular is a real pain where I live.

Before this topic takes a different direction, I really don't have a problem with the whole process, I just want to know if I have to bring any extra documents to the embassy?
