A friend and I are thinking about cycling from Seoul to Busan for our two week vacation. If anyone else has done this or know anything about it, I have some questions:
- how far is it (in km, not time)?
- are there lots of accessible small towns along the way?
- what did you take with you?
- how did you plan your route?
- anything else I should be aware of?
We're thinking of doing 100 km every other day; ride 100 km one day, stop at a town and hang out for the rest of that day and the next day, and repeat until we get to Busan. Then hop on the KTX back to Seoul. I'd greatly appreciate any input- thanks! |

If you use facebook, there is a group for cycling in Korea where you might be able to get some informed answers. One of the more active members is planning a ride between Sokcho and Busan sometime soon.
