| what are the conditions of being resigned again by the school? I know that I am very popular with the students. I heard from my aunt that by next year, Korean English teachers will be replacing Native English teachers..Kinda worried with job prospects for the future. And no, i don't wanna work for a hagwon. |

Kids forget quickly.
They see foreigners rotate in and out of their school constantly (by year or semester) and the public school staff rotates as well. There is a chance you could possibly get rehired as the English teacher, things could be very different.
Then again, I also believe that all schools want to have a Korean face teaching. Keep the money with the people~
Or I could be wrong and you get the same job at the same school. |

| okay here is my story..This is my first year teaching in Korea. I have been teaching at a public middle school for seven months now..My experience has been absolutely incredible so far..my school of 1500 students plus love me to death. Since I have been working at the school, My fellow teachers tell me how popular I am at the school. Every student enjoys my class and looks forward to my classes. I get well respected by the principle and school administration. I am a Kyopo by the way..I do have a korean face..The head teacher told me the other day that all this won't be possible if it wasn't for me. |

| If you want to work at same school next year, then tell the school you want to. Have they asked you to stay for next year, yet? I've been asked to stay for next two years, but because the Principal was drunk at the time, I'm not holding my breath. Anyway, all depends on funding. And that, unfortunately, is out of our control. |
