Hey guys, im looking at doing Hiroshima on the cheap with my girlfriend and am trying to find a nice Hotel to stay in. I was hoping that there would be something similar to a love motel, where we get a room to ourselves for a very good price...

does anyone know of anything?? So far the cheapest price i can find is 100,000w a night Sad

I stayed at a Toyoko Inn when I was in Hiroshima. I think it was around $60-70 (at the time, I know the yen has gone up since then). Toyoko Inn's are pretty nice and clean and they come with a Japanese breakfast. They're meant for business people so they're always quite close to a subway or train station.

You can even book in English online. There website is:

here is the hotel website in English..
http://www.ekimae-green.com/english/

I liked it because it was very close to the train station and easy to get into town as well.

It is a nice 45 minute walk to the bomb site straight up the main street through the centre of town. maybe 10 mins away by tram.
