I used to be love Nujabes, the guy who behind the music to Samurai Champloo. He has a couple good ones, "Metaphorical Music" and "Modal Soul".

2nd collection is another from Nujabes... good call on that. yeah, the samurai champloo is a nice compilation.

Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield. It really launched the Virgin empire. It's special because Mike played almost if not all the instruments. From what I know, he played 20 of them. What is more striking was his age as I think he was only 21 when the album was recorded.
