|
|
Does something like furniture polish for dusting exist in Korea? In America it would be like the brand "Lemon Pledge". I don't need it for polishing so much really, as just dusting. I try dusting with wet towel or counter top cleaner but both seem to just push the dust around. I don't see anything in the homeplus or Emart except countertop cleaners (for disinfecting, not polishing).
Anyone know the name for a Korean product for dusting? |

I've got a can of pledge in front of me. Not sure where the GF got it, but most likely either homeplus or costco. I found if you use it on the wood floors it makes the extremely slick and endlessly entertaining |

Koreans don't use Pledge and the like much because real wood furniture is uncommon. I have seen Koreans using soju to clean. You might wanna try that. |

Try mixing three parts olive oil and one part vinegar or lemon juice. Shake and spray or apply to a soft cloth and rub. Finish with another clean soft cloth. |

That mixture sounds great for polishing. But most of my wood is fake so just something to really make the dust stick is what I need.
Soju might work but the smell reeks.
Can you type (in Korean) what it says on the can of pledge that you found. Not just the word "pledge", but whatever describes the product? That would be great since I can't do a good miming of dusting.
Thanks,

Cool. I take it you have pets/kids? I'll try that with my girlfriend's dog |

They've got spray stuff for sale at Home Plus. Lots of brands. Nearly all Korean, but yes, they do have lots to choose from there. Nearly all are pump, not aerosol. |

No pets or kids, just a girlfriend who tends to run around the apt in socks.
I can type in Korean but i'm not down with transcribing the whole can. It looks just like a pledge can back home, and under "pledge" it says 프레지 haha.
The gf has just told me she got it at Homeplus. |

Wonderful,
I'll ask for it by name at Home Plus World Cup Stadium. At least I know they should recognize the name.
Thanks, |
