Hey all
If this question has been answered here before, my apologies. I can't find it.
I have previously spent two and a half years teaching English in Korea (on an E-2 visa) and after having been away from it for about a year and a half I have an intense craving for some Korean culture, food, and to see some old friends. I was thinking the best way to satisfy this craving would be to teach at a winter camp, but I don't know how the visa arrangements work. I don't particularly want to do it on a tourist visa because I want to keep the possibility of going back more permanently and being deported won't help! So how does one go teach a winter camp legally? Is there some sort of short term E-2 visa I can get? I believe now an E-2 has to be obtained from your home country (they were changing the rules as I was leaving, so I'm not sure anymore) but is it the same for a short term one? Any info on this would be much appreciated! Thanks!
