got an offer through my friend where the hogwan wants me
to work only a day a week. is that ok or illegal? do i have to sign a contract
for only a day a week? and do i have an obligation to show them copies
of my visa, passport etc.? they asked for it but didnt said i was to sign a contract.
anybody know any details on this kind of topic??

Ignore the above idiots .
Its not legal unless you have the approval of your current hagwon boss. If he says it is OK , you have to go down to immigration and fill out a form with him, the one-day hagwon owner and yourself stipulating you are legally allowed to work there.That mightn't be quite right but it is something along those lines.
If your current boss doesn't know about it or doesn't allow it it isn't legal. Don't give them your passport and degree etc. as if it processes through immigration and they see your name and you trying to get a new job at another place at the same time your in BIG TROUBLE!!! |

The one exception to this is if your visa status isn't strictly E-2.
F-2-1 and kyopo F4s just need to report to immigration the new place they will be working. They don't have to let their main boss know anything. |
