Will there be any problem with Canadian customs if I bring back a bunch of packs of birth control pills from Korea when I leave?

I don't want to have to go get a prescription when I get back to Canada and they are so much cheaper here in Korea (and much easier to get).

Are they illegal? Are you going to resell them? Did you not use a valid prescription?

If YES then you can not bring them.

Customs is mostly on the look out for illegal drugs. And huge quantities of pills we are talking hundreds.

If your really worried bring it up at customs when you land. I think in the end the worst thing that will happen is you have to throw them away.

If you have a valid prescription (ON YOU), you probably won't have any problems. I discovered that the hard way on a detour through China, when I didn't have my prescription information on me for my normal medications I take that were issued to me in Korea. Ended up in customs for several hours, which was not horrible, but it wasn't fun either.

I do not have a prescription because you don't need one to get birth control pills in Korea. In Canada, you do. That's why I'm wondering if it will be a problem.

If you are really really worried. You can just go to your gyno ask him/her to give you a prescription/note and take that with you. Of course you might have to get it translated.

If you are really worried, don't put them all in the same place in your bags. Two packs looks normal for personal use...12 looks like you might be reselling.
