Can someone please tell me a place in Bundang where I can get my haircut by people who speak English well enough to understand my directions? If you can give me directions from the nearest subway station, that would also be awesome. |

I just made a thread on this same topic this week, but I don't know how to search through my posts. It's out there though. |

My girlfriend goes to Toni and Guy in Jeongja and spends a pretty fortune having her highlights maintained. It's not cheap, but the cuts usually look pretty fantastic, and they give her wine and stuff.
I simply go to Blue Club (there's a million of them) and opt in for the 10,000 won shampoo and trim. |

I went to the Family Hair Shop mentioned in the other thread (link 2 posts up). There were pictures of black women all over the walls and the other people getting their hair cut were all black women and white girls. I'm a white dude, so I was a little hesitant.
I asked, "Do you, uh, cut hair like mine? I mean, uh, can you?"
Korean hair stylist replies, "What do you mean like yours?"
"I mean..um...like mine."
"Yeah, of course."
I looked around at the pictures and hesitantly took a seat.
Had to wait at least 30 minutes or so, but I gotta admit, she did an EXCELLENT job. In the states, I'd been going to the same woman for 12 years cause I'm really picky about my haircuts, but I was really impressed with the job they did at Family Hair Shop. I showed a picture and then described how I wanted it. She spoke English. She did it right. I will definitely be going here again. |
