Basically I called in sick a last week because of some stomach upsets. I recovered and went back to work the next day. My boss just called me and told me that I need to come in tomorrow early because we are going to the hospital to do medical tests. Does anyone know what the testing for swine flu consists of?

I do not know. But let's just pray they don't put you in a pig costume and throw you off the top of the hospital to see if you can fly. Shocked

If it's anything like mine, it's just a temperature check-up for 4-7 days and ask if you have any swineflu like symptoms. Went throught it when I first came here two weeks ago. Razz Don't worry, there's no probing.

are we legally complied to take these tests? nowhere does my contract clarify this issue. and i'd prefer to rest and recover at home than having to share a room with 5 other patients for a week.

Unless you actually are confirmed with Swine Flu, I doubt you're getting quaratined with other folks.

We just had to check into the center and check out. It's not difficult. There was a sever flaw in the logic since me and my roomate are also staying with Koreans, but whatever. It's really not that severe.
