|
|
When I went to school we studied four types of sentences: declarative,
imperative, exclamatory, and interrogative. I guess sometimes different countries use different terminology, but does anyone refer to "interrogative sentences" as "interrogation sentences"?
The terminology "interrogation sentences" strikes me as odd ... but
maybe I need to go back to school.
Thanks for your replies. |

...was someone interrogating you on your knowledge of the four types of sentences?
Interrogative sentences are the sentences of choice by the most discerning of interrogation specialists. |

No. It's a worksheet for students that was prepared by another teacher.
Do they call them "interrogation sentences" these days? |
