He seemed a decent guy, not puffed up and arrogant like some overexposed celebs. He'd been with his wife for 40 odd years. She was 15, he was 19 when they met.

57 is too young for people to go...sad to hear about stories like that.
cancer is scary since it takes the healthy people too. |

Me and my co-teacher found out at the same time and shared a moment at work.
Swayze sure looked like an awesome fella. He told the producers of "Ghost" he was going to walk if they didn't cast Whoopi Goldburg.
Also, his mum, a dance instructor and choreographer, gave Debbie Allen dance instruction because she wasn't allowed to dance at the all white schools.
Good family, it seems.
