|
|
| So I finally got a job and they sent me the contract and other forms including a visa health statement. I answered yes to having been treated for mental/emotional issues citing depression as the issue. There was no other information that they requested about my treatment like when or to what extent. I'm wondering, is this grounds enough for them to outright reject me? Has anyone ever got an E2 visa while disclosing a similar issue, or know of someone who has? I've never been medicated and am fine now so it shouldn't matter but I'm starting to think to them it does. I wanted to say no to the question but I don't like to lie. |

I would have lied if I were you although I am not sure how strict they are or how rewarding they are towards honesty???
My favourite question on the medical form is "have you or have you ever had HIV/AIDS"
There's a cure I dont know about? |

| No one wants a depressed man/woman teaching kids. I suggest lieing about the depression if you have it under control. If your depression gets out of control I suggest not teaching. |
