Being a South African, I am not sure if I can claim back tax or pension.
I think South Africans are supposed to pay a higher tax, right?
I am paying the standard 3.3%
And I heard something vaguely about a reciprocal tax agreement
something or other

Any fellow South Africans know more about this?

Thanks in advance

I am also South African. I have got tax back in the past-but was pretty lucky that the school handled the whole thing-gave me a paper to sign-and then handed me a sizeable amount of money a few weeks later.

As far as pension goes, South Africans should not be paying pension and i would ask for your money back if you have been paying.

Not that this really helps-but better than nothing i guess...

3.3% isn't the standard.
