|

So my E2 Visa has been issued from Japan..and Im getting to ready to get my ARC Card..
I need to get a medical check up right? I know that this test should include a TBPE test and HIV test.. So are these the only two things the general hospital will look for or what??
How much should I be expected to pay for the procedure and when do the results come out?
I will ask for a general medical test that includes TBPE and HIV Test..
Is this right?? |

It's standard health exam that includes
Blood Pressure check
Blood test
Chest Xray
Urine test
Heart check
Some hospitals will do a hearing seeing and dental check. This is not mandatory. It's crucial that it is on a specific document that you will have to submit every year.
If you have a Pre-Existing condition like High Blood pressure don't worry. The most they will do is prescribe medication. Otherwise it's a no brainer.
You are expected to go without food for eight to twelve hours prior to taking the exam. |

Blood Pressure check
Blood test (STD mainly, but they even checked cholesterol and others (go me!, mine was good))
Chest Xray
Urine test (drug test mainly)
Heart check (? you know what, they didn't do this one for me)
I also had:
Eye test
Hearing test
Teeth check
Height/weight (Yay! I finally know how tall I am in cm! a nice even 170)
I think that's it.
Ya, they told me no food or drink for 8 hours. I did mine at a hospital and it was just under 60k.
PS. I think I remember a post where Dr. Love said his clinic would only test for things specifically required for your ARC if you wanted. |
