|
|
I stumbled across this work-around:
I tried 3 PC Bangs, and none would allow me to open a folder where I could see the Explorer address bar so I could type in the ftp addrees and login in order to ftp.
But --- when I stuck in a flashdrive - the computer started reading it as normal - and as normal gave me options of what to do next in a popup window...
...one of the options - as normal - was "open file folder" - which I chose, and it opened the folder in a standard Explorer winodw WITH the address bar visible --- and it accepted the ftp commands.....I'm ftping now...
Using Internet Explorer wouldn't work, but once I found this way to get a straight Explorer window opened with address bar included, I was good to go.... |

You could have opened any window to do this, including just right clicking on the start button and hitting Explore. |
