Hello,

I was wondering if anyone lives or has lived in this building. If you have any information, it would be appreciated. Noisy Neighbors? Worth the price?
Quality of the apartment? Thanks in advance....

POSITIVES:

-very clean
-modern design
-great location
-great views
-cheap laundrymat, good restaurants, Starbucks, in same building

NEGATIVES:
-very expensive bills
-no balcony, bathtub, or oven Sad
-cold design - lots of empty concete spaces
-lingering chemical smell (paint?) in some lobbies

It's a good place for a year if you don't mind spending a bit more.

If you can afford it, do it.
I haven't seen a nicer apartment than I have seen there.
(and ample, hidden-in-wall storage!)

Hi,

Thanks for the responses. What about the noise? Can you hear the people above you doing even the most mundane things? In my current apartment I can hear people when they use the bathroom or even drop the smallest thing on the floor above me. Please let me know, thanks...

I dunno, I didnt notice any noise when I was there. Also, no neighbors ever complained about noise to us.

If I had the choice, I would live there.
I'm sure this will get flooded with people saying they've seen better, but it's the most western/nice apartments I've been in since I came here.

I was supposed to take over my friends job/apartment, but the school said that they were switching apartments to save money.

ie:deal breaker and I'm not there now, haha

I'm not sure about the starting cost.
My friends was a two bedroom, large living room/kitchen.
It even had a "drying closet" for clothes.

The monthly fees are a bit higher than most places, but like I said, had I the opportunity, I would have lived there in a second.

Plus Beomgye is a sweet town.
(I say beomgye because thats the closer subway station. Exit 2 by the colorful rings)

There are plenty of other big officetels around beomgyae and pyeoncheon. Acrotowers is one of the most expensive.

I have a nice one room with big loft (that I have curtained off) in hansol central park, really nice bathroom and amazing views (thats what sold it 15th floor).

I paid 5 million down 600 a month and I think it is close to 40m2

I have a friend in an officetel by pyeonchon 5 million down 650 a month 2 room (the bed room just fits a double bed and has a window to the corridor so it sucks for sleeping in). (any beomgyae lingua guys want to shout out the name of the apartment)

I have a friend in acro ~20 million down 900 a month, 2 bedroom massive lounge.

Problem with officetels is your month expensese are high, mine is ~150 a month and I don't run heat or aircon.

Noise wise I live on a top floor and I can't really hear anything. My mate in acro has never complained

pm if you want more info

I'm currently living in Acrotower in the B tower. 25th floor. The view is sweet and there are drycleaners, convenience store, hair dresser, decent restaurants of all price range.

But most importantly, it's right next to the central park and there is a gym on the 4th floor that offers discount for the tower residents.

I say if you can afford it, do it!

Finally checked it out myself, looks nice! Any more comments? Especially about noise from neighbors. They say the floors are thicker than other buildings, so you can't hear even the noisiest neighbors... Any new tenants since I first posted?

Thanks...
