Anyone who works for the public system and has either finished or is about to finish their contract: how did your school pay you? Cash? Did anyone's school wire the money back to their home country bank account?

I'm finishing my contract soon, and my school is giving me all the money before I leave. Just tell them you want the money before you leave, or you're waiting until they do. As far as cash is concerned, it's not an option at my school so it's going to my K bank account.

Yeah, you should have time left after your contract is finished so that you can get everything. Depends on the end of the contract and when your payday is. Example, my payday is on the 25th and my contract ends a few days later.
I get paid as usual on the 25th, but have to wait until the actual end of contract date to get the severance.

I got all my money before my last day. There's no reason why they can't do this. They don't have to give it all to you then, especially severance, but why wouldn't they?

What all is in the final pay?

Last month's pay.
One month's severance?
Exit bonus or plane money?

Then you get the pension money separately from them?

Yes, you should get:

1. Last month's pay
2. flight money
3. severance
4. any kind of security deposit

pension is entirely separate and doesn't come from your school.

I am currently with GEPIK and have a question for those who have done more than one year.

I'm not home, so I don't have my contract on me, but does the contract usually start in march even though I signed it a month or so earlier?

Do I still get severance pay if I resign with the same school?

When can I try to get my pension money and how long does the process take?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks
