Do any of you guys and gals have any good suggestions on where to go tonight? I'm jsut looking for maybe a club that plays M2 style house music but has places to sit and doesn't have 30,000 won+ cover charge. I'm not lookin to dance but just sit and have some drinks with a friend of mine who is also new to Seoul. An even female to male ratio would also be great but it isn't necessary. Any suggestions? thanks!

A seat... hmm. VIP at club in Gangnam / Apgujeong...

You might check out Brixxx which is not a club, but is comfortable, has cool drinks, hookah and plays electronic music though not the same as M2. As far as ratio goes, well it's not an ideal pickup place and most of the girls are accompanied by guys.

Standing or sitting? I mean, do you get your own little table/spot or is it like one big hookah hooked up to a central area?

I haven't been there in a couple of years, but the hookah is overpriced and low quality/quantity. The atmosphere at Brickx was chill enough though. I always had a good time there.

Sounds great guys. Thanks for the advice.

Where exactly is Brixx if I'm coming out of the Hongik University metro stop

I'm sure I can find it if I just wander around.

I just want to thank you guys for the help.

This is why I come to this forum even though there is a lot of crap that is posted.

There are some knowledgeable posters here that provide a lot of good advice about settling here in the ROK.

I went to Bricxx tonight and it was exactly what I was looking for. I had a blast. A lot of hot eye candy, great music and good booze.

Cheers.
