Has anyone done a Hong Kong visa run before?
How long does Korean immigration in Hong Kong take to process?
Is there a history of ineptitude and unprofessionalism there? |

It's now China (again, after a ninety-nine year lease to the drug dealers who wanted tea)... 5000 years may qualify as a history.
The Ks are newcomers to having a consulate in HK... so... 5000 years of graft and corruption, plus 5000 years of graft and corruption equals - I can't answer your question.  |

I should have first asked. Can they process E2 visas in Hong Kong?
I know everyone usually goes to Japan. |

They can process E2 visas in Hong Kong, however I am not sure how long they take.
Either EMAIL them at [email protected] or call them on (+852)2528-3666 and ask them how many days they require to process an E2 visa.

| I made a visa run to Hong Kong about three years ago. I dropped it off on a Friday afternoon, and got it back on Tuesday morning. Think a day and a half processing. No problems what so ever, and a lot better place than Japan to hang out for a few days. |

Currently they take 4 working days and their ineptitude is no different than any other K-consulate or embassy. |
