Just wondering if anyone has run into this problem and if they have managed to solve it.
I use KTF/Show. I use the "Card Phone" system. I pay 10,000 won, and when my credit runs out, or the month is up, I pay another 10,000 won.
My current phone is in sad shape. I managed to buy a used phone online. I took it to the local Show store and asked them to switch the service to my 'new' phone.
The poor guy at the shop tried his best, but he was unable to get any results. There was a problem with my ARC number, it seemed.
My friend found a service number for KTF that has English service (016-1583). I called them and they said that my ARC had expired and that was why there was a problem. I explained that I had renewed my visa. They told me to take my ARC card back to the store and they would up-date my account with an extended visa. Then everything would be ok.
Of course, everything was not okay. The clerk was unable to transfer my service to the new phone.
The clerk at the store has now told me that I should go down to Technomart in Sindorim (it's close to where I live) and that I can get the service transfer done there.
Anyways, I'm just wondering if some one has successfully dealt with this situation in the past. Any help would be very welcome.
