I just finished tearing apart and re-splicing the four pin line jack into my modem with a paring knife, pair of tweezers and an awl after finding out Emart doesn't sell bloody phone jacks/cords/anything anymore. I had to cut up the jack a bit to get the old wire pieces out and pull out the contacts with the point of the awl. It's not pretty, but it works like a charm.
