Yup...if you don't mind dropping 17,5000 won for a beer (the cheapest drink on the menu)...

It's a real meat market these days. Tons of gold diggers and 30K millionaires blowing their entire paychecks trying to pick them up.

It's in the basement of the Hyatt...
at least you don't have to pay the 40% luxury tax on drinks there anymore...

The beer is 17,500? (!) I'm thinking that's the 330, not the 660, huh? Damn. It was 9,000 back in 1997, when I went there last, but seriously--the high five digits? Insane.

You're paying for the atmosphere, not the beer.

I've never been (I hate clubs; music is too loud) but I hear the women there are exceptionally attractive. True?

I went a few times years back. Wasn't that impressed. Rip off price for an evening better spent at far more exciting clubs and bars

I went there with other senior civilian office chiefs for a night of relaxation after a major DoD inspection. A guy who works at the "white house" on Main Post even reserved a table and drinks for us.
As soon as we got in there, I don't know what it was, maybe the leeches smelled "money" from our table, but young girls were bending over backwards trying to introduce themselves to us and were basically throwing themselves at us. I was there just to have a good time and relax after a long day of work. But this one guy from our group met this drop-dead gorgeous model with whom he left the place with- luck SOB!

One girl I knew before met Bruce Willis there. At the same time, however, I am curious about how many Koreans have said they met Tom Cruise after talking to me....

I think the biggest question is how many "met" Bill Clinton Shocked

I generally enjoy the band there and just the vibe, it feels more Western. HOWEVER, as others explained, the cast of characters there are interesting. Every one seems to have an agenda, everyone seems to be fronting!!

Yeah, so in that respect, it serves the wealthy or "wealthy" male expat crowd in Korea just fine. I'm sure most of you wouldn't be complaining a whole helluva lot about the place either if were in that bracket and not on the Hongdae-Helios English Teacher's budget...
