Sending in all my paperwork for my E2 visa. I asked if I needed to send a return envelope and they stated "No. you'll get your documents back when you arrive in Korea."
Does this sound correct?
When should one get their documents back? |

be careful. Koreans are infamous for losing, damaging or keeping the diplomas of foreign teachers.
Don't send the original: send a notarised copy. |

define documents
there is nothing that I sent that I needed back with the exception of my diploma (and if i was worried and sent an apostilled copy I wouldn't even have to worry about that one)
basically, I'm saying, what do you want back?
at first I thought your topic was talking about a recruiter and job hunting, but getting your E-2 is different, you're on your way
but if you want them sent back, ya, send an envelope
if you are worried about them keeping them, either they are going to give them back to you when you get there, or they won't mail them back anyway
if you just want them because you want them, i would wait because things do get lost in the mail.....
but that's just my personal opinion |
